We just got back from market in Houston were we introduced our two new Block of Month programs: Bella Verona (left) and Northern Stars (right). We had a great location with a corner booth this time right off the Timeless Treasures booth section.

We used lots of our fabric to make curtains, table coverings and even framed some pieces of fabric (these are now on my mantel).

Here are myself (Jenny and Toni) in front of our quilts.

Myself, Toni and Shirley. Shirley is our go to girl. She helps us sew, edit and comes with us to market. We couldn't do our job without her.

A picture of our 17 year old quilt prodigy. She made the sample quilt of Tonga Rhapsody for her shop in less than 3 wks by herself. Please comment if you know her name and shop.

We started designing the 2012 BOM fabrics and made some decisions

Since college I have always wanted to go to some of the museums I studied.
This trip I scratched the Guggenheim off my bucket list.

Frank Lloyd Wright was the architect for the museum.
He is one of my favorites!

Metropolitian Museum of Art. Didn't have time to visit this trip!Central Park Zoo Plaza Hotel - This is the hotel were Home Alone was filmed.
Took these for my boys! The gigantic snowflake was suspended between the buildings!

We went to A Cathedral Christmas at St. John the Divine which included Handel's Messiah.
I loved all the details in the architecture. Looks like fabric inspiration!

Left bright and early with a 7am flight from Kansas City.
Jenny & her Mom. Mom's first trip to NYC.Decided to hit the fashion district.Here is Mood, the fabric store made famous by the show Project Runway.
To get to Mood you have to go into the building and ride an elevator,
complete with an operator, up to the second floor where you enter the store.
Then there are three floors of fabric, trims & buttons galore!Toni finding button gems!Here is another Project Runway haunt, M&J Trimming.
It is a gigantic store with trims from floor to ceiling.
Every fabric girl's dream!We just happened to walk by and I looked up to see the Soupman from Seinfeld.

The pictures are all taken, the patterns made, the car is packed and we are on our way to Houston. Glad to be out of the Kansas wind. Looking forward to putting faces to the voices we have talked to over this past year. Toni is putting on the last minute binding on our Man'Z Domain tablerunner. I am finishing up the embroidery on our new Wildflower Sampler. Now we are headed to bed to dream about the shrimp from Pappasitos restaurant which is our lunch destination tomorrow. Yummy!
